Tutorial: Makeing Hair Ties

Hi guys! I'm so excited to be sharing my first ever tutorial! Today we are going to be making 5 minute hair ties! I'm saying five minute since it takes literally five minuets. I'll make these when I'm leaving and need a hair tie or just give them as gifts! I learned to make these from these sites:
http://sunnytuesday.blogspot.com/2011/09/hairband-tutorial.html
I can't re-find the other site but when I do i'll make sure to give credit!
Now to get makeing these
Supplies :
candle/flame of some sort. just don't use a bonfire.
fold over elastic. you can get this on eBay but I got it from pick your plum.
scissors
measuring tape ( optional )

These are my elastics. I have more but these were all I could find.
Top: pink, brown, red, white, black
left: coral, blue, red, black, white
Right: small elastic I use for head bands
cut a 9 inch strip.
I prefer bigger elastics so i do 11-13 inch hair ties.
These are perfect for messy buns.
The top is the shiniy side and bottom is dull side -dont mix these up!

lay it flat with shiniy side down and tie like a ballon

melt the ends to pervent fraying
you can also use clear nail polish.
It's done !

On Saturday and Sunday you have the opportunity to tune in via Internet, TV, or going to a church, and Listen to our latter-day prophet and apostles speak to us. You don't have to be a Mormon to see this special event happen. You can just go on lds.org and stream it live! Curious? got to this  site. I hope you will listen! I defiantly will.

I'm In The Blues

It's no secret. I love blue. Especially light blues and blues with a purple undertone. This out fit shows how much I LOVE blue. Sorry for falling off a cliff. Getting back to school is killing me. Hopefully I'll remember my post tomorrow.( sneak peak in this outfit leave a comment with what you think it is!)Anyhow I love this dress it's simple cute twirly and flattering If I had thought I would have plopped a belt on or a black bow with gold studs in my hair and it would have took it to a whole new level!
